How Registration Works
Complete the steps below in order. Use the same parent email address for family registration and the nonprofit registration payment.

Complete family registration
Submit parent, emergency contact, student, policy acknowledgment, and electronic signature information.

Pay the $30 annual family registration fee through Homeschool Upstate, our umbrella nonprofit organization.

Open the class catalog
Enter the same parent email address to confirm registration payment. The catalog unlocks after the payment to HCU is matched to your family registration.

Submit class requests
Add classes to the cart, assign each class to a student, and submit the completed request.

Pay teachers directly
After submission, teacher payment instructions, totals, links or handles, and payment notes appear on the class catalog page.

Complete volunteer signup
Select a volunteer position that fits the hours your family will be on campus.

Important:
Class requests create pending seat holds. Families should complete
teacher payments and volunteer signup promptly to keep those seats.
Classes
The live catalog includes class descriptions, teacher biographies, age recommendations, schedules, materials, tuition, and current availability.
Payment Confirmation
Class selection is available after the website confirms that the $30 family registration fee has been paid.

The co-op does not collect teacher tuition. Families pay each teacher directly after submitting class requests.
How payment details appear
Selected classes are grouped by teacher with the total amount due, payment link or handle, and any teacher-specific instructions.
Payment note
The website creates a payment note using the student name and class title. Use the Copy payment note button before opening the payment app.
Payment status
Seats remain pending until payment is confirmed. Teachers or co-op leadership may update payment status in the registration system.

- Teacher Meeting and Orientation: Thursday, September 10, 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Mandatory Family Orientation: Thursday, September 10, 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
- First Day of Classes: Thursday, September 17
- Showcase Night: Thursday, November 19
- Last Day of Classes: Thursday, November 19
Co-op Handbook
Families are responsible for reading and agreeing to the co-op handbook before participating.
Parent Responsibilities
Parents are expected to read co-op communication, follow the posted schedule, support classroom expectations, complete volunteer requirements, and help maintain a respectful learning environment.
Student Expectations
Students are expected to participate respectfully, follow teacher instructions, remain in assigned areas, and treat classmates and adults with kindness.
Attendance
Notify co-op leadership and teachers if your family will be absent. Regular attendance helps classes run smoothly.
Volunteer Requirement
Each family is required to serve in a volunteer position during co-op hours. Families with eligible high school students may choose the approved opt-out option.
Payments
The annual family registration fee is paid through Homeschool Upstate. Class tuition is paid directly to each teacher using the instructions shown after class requests are submitted.
Abuse Prevention Policy
The safety of children is a serious responsibility. Families, teachers, and volunteers are expected to follow all co-op safety policies.

The co-op is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for children, parents, teachers, and volunteers.
Supervision Standards
Children should remain in assigned areas and under appropriate adult supervision during co-op activities.
Reporting Concerns
Concerns involving child safety, inappropriate behavior, or suspected abuse should be reported immediately to co-op leadership and, when required, to the appropriate authorities.
Zero Tolerance
Abuse, harassment, grooming behavior, intimidation, and retaliation will not be tolerated.
